SATS offers an unparalleled service with unique ambulance staffing combinations rarely witnessed in the UK
pre-hospital environment. Primarily a service to support the transfer of critically ill patients, our team of
Registered Nurses have vast experience and knowledge, believing that the continuity of expert nursing care should
not be jeopardised.
SATS is able to provide flexibility dependent on each individual hospitals/clients requirements, building a
team of Registered Nurses, HCPC Registered Paramedics, IHCD Emergency Medical Technicians and Emergency Care
Assistants.
All team members are highly trained in resuscitation (Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Life Support), automated
external defibrillators, Oxygen and Entonox therapy, Emergency First Aid at Work and advanced emergency driving with our
Registered Nurses having extensive training in Intensive Care Transfers to ensure patient safety. SATS has an
ongoing training programme to ensure that all staff members are continually improving their skills and keeping
abreast of current regulations and guidelines.
SATS is adherent to the Care Quality Commission standards, highlighting that all team members are "fully trained
to the level required and patient care is excellent. Staff are properly supported to provide care and treatment to
patients. Records show that staff are trained, supervised and appraised".
